In tenkalai sampradAyam, siriya tirumaDal is set to 77 pAsuram count; and periya tirumaDal is set to 148 pAsuram count plus 1 additional pAsuram of kambar. tiruvezhukooRRirukkai is taken as 1 pAsuram, hence the total of 227 pAsurams)
