BAKASAURA AND KRISHNA

KRISHNA KILLS BAKASURA

In KrishnAvatAra, BakAsura was one of the demons sent by King Kamsa to kill Krishna. He came in the disguise of a huge crane and swallowed KrishNa playing on the banks of Yamuna. As KrishNa emanated a burning sensation inside his heart, the bird brought Him out unable to bear the heat, and thought of killing Him with the beak. As KrishNa reached the bird's beak, he opened it widely and tore it apart thus killing the demon.
